I have fallen in love with this dress and I thought I would design invitations to match. I was thinking poshy goth style. Something different and dramatic! With a dress like this why not go a little over board? Pick a hall with black chandlers and add some silver vases with purple roses.  Don't forget the perfect invitations. ;)

Have you noticed how cool black looks with just about any colour?  Black & red, black & pink, black & lime, etc.  Just about any colour you can think of looks really hot with black!  Brides are catching on to this and weddings look fantastic!  Giving your wedding a modern feel is a must right now!  No one wants that traditional wedding that has been played out over and over.  Everyone one whats their wedding day to be something people will remember.  Adding black to your colour pallet can do just that!   

Welcome to Invitations by April

Since this is my 1st post I thought I would start off by saying... Hi! :)

My name is April and I am a Graphic Designer.  I have fallen in love with wedding invitations and all things wedding since last year when I began to plan my own wedding.  There are so many options out there to make a wedding day special and I would love to be part of it all.

I have just opened my invitation company to the public through Facebook, Kijiji and Craigslist.  I have created this blog so you can get a better idea of what I do and how I can help you.

There are a lot of different templates to choose from out there (in the way of invitations) but there isn't much room for creating something totally unique, one of a kind, that only you and your future spouse will have.  That's where I come in.  I am offering my skills as a graphic designer to create that dream wedding that you have been wanting.
