I first met Deirdre last year, she was all excited about being engaged and wanted to get start right away! A year later and I think we created just the thing she was looking for. With bright colours, pink, green and yellow - this Indian inspired invitation turned out beautifully.

Osama wasn't too sure about the bling, but come on! It's bling! Oh coarse it's going to look great! :)

In lue of a reply card and envelope, they decided to go with a map card with reply info indicated right on it.

This past Sunday was my daughter's 1st Birthday and Baptism!

We had a wonderful day with the family!

It was so busy I forgot to take pictures of the Stationery on the tables! Lucky for me I kept some pieces and took these photographs!

The Centerpieces were green apples with cute little tags thanking everyone for coming!

The treats were a big hit!

What can I say, Gold and ivory linen are meant to be together! :)

Andrea and Chris came to me wanting an invite that translated into Spanish and English. Here you can see the Spanish version. Traditionally hand delivered, every guest name is written in Script fonts with at fun little flower in the corner of the envelope.

Also a Mexican Tradition, giving tickets out for the guests to bring to the hall and check in. Every guests needs one! This fun little star fold can make any plain old ticket look elegant.

Finally a map and an extra insert for the English invites... reply online please! :)

The pocket style invitation always looks great!

But some of these invitations have these long ribbons wrapped around them and once your guest unwraps it, it's lost forever. So I had an idea, how about slipping your invite into a belly band that match the same graphic elements as the inside. It's easy for your guests to get the invitation in and out and gives them a sneak peek of what the inside will look like. :)

Celtic patterns have always been so interesting that I was very excited to work on this one. I really wanted the pattern to pop so I gave it a bit of a blue and silver sheen. This would even look great with the pattern in silver foil!

Yellow and Turquoise

Now, you don't see many wedding's use yellow and turquoise but it works so well! This beautiful yellow dress would look great with a turquoise necklace and purse. Yellow daises with turquoise ribbon, beautiful and affordable. Here I kept the invitations simple and really played with the colours. Enjoy!

I love the black lace in this bridesmaid dress with the simple red belt. Ivory and black with a hint of red. The colour pallet for this wedding makes it very easy to save a little money by using the ivory linens that the hall will already provide. Think about using black lace around the clear vases with tall red lilies. And since the rest of the wedding will be very white, wear a red wedding dress to really make a statement!

I have fallen in love with this dress and I thought I would design invitations to match. I was thinking poshy goth style. Something different and dramatic! With a dress like this why not go a little over board? Pick a hall with black chandlers and add some silver vases with purple roses. Don't forget the perfect invitations. ;)

Since this is my 1st post I thought I would start off by saying... Hi! :)

My name is April and I am a Graphic Designer. I have fallen in love with wedding invitations and all things wedding since last year when I began to plan my own wedding. There are so many options out there to make a wedding day special and I would love to be part of it all.

I have just opened my invitation company to the public through Facebook, Kijiji and Craigslist. I have created this blog so you can get a better idea of what I do and how I can help you.

There are a lot of different templates to choose from out there (in the way of invitations) but there isn't much room for creating something totally unique, one of a kind, that only you and your future spouse will have. That's where I come in. I am offering my skills as a graphic designer to create that dream wedding that you have been wanting.
